Frankfurt on Foot Private WalkingTours

Whether you have a long layover in Frankfurt or would like to have a special, private tour that is tailor made for you or your groups' interests, then you have come to the right place. It can be wonderful to have a friendly contact in a strange city, so allow us to be that contact for you – especially if you are traveling to Germany or Europe for the first time. We can meet you at your hotel or we can pick you up from the airport or the main train station. Starting your walking tour from there means you don’t have to worry about trying to find your way around the city or how to use the train system. Our goals are to make your visit to Frankfurt easy for you, as well as memorable.

Our private tour prices for groups of 1-10 persons are 55 euro per hour and groups of 11-20 people are 65 euro per hour. We have a 2 hour minimum if we meet you in the city. If we meet you at a location that includes travel time for the guide, this will add on additional costs depending on how long it takes the guide to get to your location. These are total prices and not per person prices.

We will take you to the things that you want to see, spend as much time there as you would like, we will research any special themes for you, and there is never any time pressure. When you let us know what your interests are, we will work with you to plan your very own, special tour. Because it is "YOUR" tour, we can always be flexible and change the day to suit you at a moments notice. This is the best way to go sightseeing in Frankfurt! Having your very own personal tour guide will enhance your vacation experience in Germany. Our tour guides are always native English speakers and can lead you to the secret gems and unusual spots of Frankfurt that aren't in the guidebooks.

If you would like a private tour to Frankfurt Höchst, Büdingen, Eltville & Eberbach Monastery, Limburg, Worms, Seligenstadt, Mainz, Bad Homburg, Idstein, or to the Saalburg Roman Fort or to Hessen Park Open Air Museum, we will be happy to arrange one for you.

We offer themed tours to match your special interests, so write to us and let us know how we can best make your time in the Rhine Main region enjoyable and memorable.

We can also plan special tours for those wishing to visit the many historic Jewish sites in Frankfurt.

Would you like a personalized tour of the Rhine, with your tour individually planned to match your interests? Whether you wish a boat cruise, a castle visit, a wine tasting,  or visits to some of the beautiful churches, we will tailor your tour so that you get to see and do the things you want.

Those who are blind or visually impaired may enjoy our special exploration tour that will allow you to discover Frankfurt with an experienced guide.

To arrange a private tour, please visit our website www.frankfurtonfoot.com where we have request forms for our private tours and information about our reservation deposits and policies.

When its cold does the tour include warm up breaks and washroom breaks?
Jo said…
Yes, we often stop for coffee or hot chocolate when it is cold, and in the summer we stop for drinks too. We leave this up to the person making the tour or the tour group consensus. "Comfort breaks" are of course made whenever they are needed.

We wanted to contact you personally, Nate, but did not have an email address for you. Unfortunately, we are fully booked on Sat. 2 Oct. We do have our regular daily tour at 10:30, which you can join without prior reservation. Hope we get to meet you.

Do you have availability on tours going out on March 24th? I would be interested in a layover tour. Please let me know what sites you usually visit, prices, and information about travel time to/from airport. Thank you!
