The Frankfurt Card - Transportation Plus Museums

If you are coming into Frankfurt  for 1-2 days, or during a layover, consider getting a Frankfurt Card. It is a pretty good deal as it covers your public transportation from the airport into the city and back, as well as all day long in the city, plus you get a 50% discount at the following museums and a few other places.

Group 2 days - 32.00 €
Considering an all day ticket for one person from the airport to Frankfurt is 9.55 you actually save money by getting a Frankfurt card for 10.50 €, because you also can visit the museums for half price.

You can buy these cards at the little "Welcome to Frankfurt" tourist info stands that are scattered through-out the arrival halls in the airport. Get one of these and you don't need to purchase a train ticket from the machines.

If your main interest is visiting the museums of Frankfurt, then the best card for you is going to be the Museums Embankment Ticket.  These tickets are valid for 2 days. A single person pays 18 euro, and a family (2 adults, 2 kids) pays 28 euro.
